Drugging Transcription Factors & Regulators
Small Molecules to Pursue TFs, Chromatin Remodelers, Epigenetic Regulators, Co-Factors
April 16 - 17, 2025 ALL TIMES PDT
Transcription factors (TF) are proteins with DNA-binding domains that are involved in transcribing DNA into RNA and play a key role in many diseases. Transcription factors are a subset of a larger group of intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) that lack defined structure and binding pockets and are inherently “difficult-to-drug.” Hence, besides direct modifications to the TFs, they can also be targeted by going after the proteins, epigenetic regulators, and cofactors that are involved with TF structure and function. This conference on Drugging Transcription Factors & Regulators brings together scientists who are working on innovative chemistries and technologies to modulate these promising drug targets for therapeutic intervention.
